Take Me To The Dewey!

Sydney’s Mitchell Library is celebrating it’s 100th Anniversary with a “sexy” new alphabet that utilizes objects from the library’s collection.

While I agree that it’s time to bring some sexiness back to the library system, I don’t know that a new typeface would be my first thought.  So I brought in some help from the ultimate authority in sexiness to construct a new library anthem.

Twitter: the Reality Series?

Twitter: coming soon to a TV near you.You may have heard about an innovative little company called “Twitter.” It’s no secret that the overnight(ish) sensation essentially has no business plan for generating revenue. There have been rumors going around for some time about Twitter introducing advertisements, or charging businesses for premium accounts…but a Twitter reality TV show? Castration and Other Tales of Youth

Colbert wins.This could have been really cool.

Maaaaybe I’m biased because Serenity/Firefly is one of my favorite films/tv shows (mmm Joss Whedon). But really, think about it: a little-sci-fi-tv-show-that-could gets cancelled, then gets turned into a little-sci-fi-movie-that-could, then has the chance to get turned into a space station! (Sort of.) What a great way to pay homage to both the series and its dedicated fans. Read more »
